Officials from the Charles Schwab Challenge and Fort Worth Colonial Charities announced that close to $19 million was generated through this year’s Birdies For Charity program during the 2025 tournament at Colonial Country Club.
The tournament’s 33 charity partners secured $18,976,177 in donation pledges from their supporters, and PGA Tour professionals contributed to the effort by making 1,269 birdies during the event last May.
“Over the past two decades, our Birdies For Charity program has continued to gain momentum and brand identity,” said Logan Dickinson, chairman of Birdies For Charity. “Birdies For Charity is only successful due to our partner charities being fully committed to the initiative which includes these nonprofits putting in a great deal of work to promote it and to secure the pledges.”
The Charles Schwab Challenge is one of the largest Birdies For Charity campaigns on the PGA Tour. Since the program’s inception locally in 2005, Birdies For Charity has generated nearly $195 million for participating local charities.
“Once again, the front-line charitable organizations in Tarrant County have stepped up and have been very intentional with their efforts surrounding Birdies For Charities. The result: Millions of dollars pouring back into our community that we all love,” said Brian Estridge, president and CEO of Fort Worth Colonial Charities. “Fort Worth Colonial Charities is proud to be the facilitator, and we are excited to see all the good work that these funds support.”
