Local foodies better beware as the Philadelphia Taco Festival rolls in for its 8th year.

The festival is back on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025, for another year of drinks, entertainment and most importantly, the tacos.

Be sure to come hungry to this year’s event as it will take place at Xfinity Live in South Philadelphia and is said to offer over 45 taco and food vendors with over 130 styles of tacos.

The festival shared that this will be the biggest one-day taco festival in history, featuring not only tacos but also mechanical bull riding, axe throwing and live band performances happening all day.

The event offers both VIP and general admission tickets, which are available now on the website.

In addition to bragging rights, guests with VIP tickets receive early access to the event, five full-size tacos, complimentary drinks and much more.

However, the general ticket is just as good with entrance to the festival from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and a free drink included in the purchase.
