Making Strides has always been more than just a walk, it’s a movement. The walk route is about a 1.5-to-2-mile non-competitive walk. All walkers may walk around the route more than once. Pick a meeting spot for your team and enter the festival area together. Meeting ½ hour prior to when you want to start walking may be beneficial. The start line will close at 11:00 am to ensure that everyone will be able to complete the walk before the event officially ends at 12 noon. The start line begins at the corner of Bay Plaza Blvd, and Mall Blvd (next to Sephora) and ends in front of the AMC Movie Theatre. There will be signs along the route to ensure you stay on track toward the finish line. After, head back to the festival area for an amazing entertainment lineup produced by Fever Records and the Erika Roman Foundation, and a Kids Zone Sponsored by Home Depot featuring a creative arena for young walk participants.
