Bucs, Dolphins have road games, Jaguars have bye | NFL preview video

The Jacksonville Jaguars are taking a little extra time off after last week’s London game.
Coach Liam Coen is hoping a little R-and-R will help wash the taste of that 35-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams out of their mouths. It was the most points the Jags had given up in a year and it dropped them to 4-3 for the season, tied with the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers for the last two wild-card spots.
It wasn’t all bad, as the Jaguars do remain in playoff position. Travis Hunter finally scored his first touchdown of his rookie season as he’s seeing his role in the offense increase. Travis Etienne remains in the top-10 with 514 rushing yards, while Trevor Lawrence ranks 10th with 1,620 passing yards. The Jags hope linebacker Devin Lloyd, tied for the NFL lead with four interceptions, will be healthy when the team gets back in action.

Do the Jaguars play today?
No. Jacksonville is on its bye week, and they’re not alone. The Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders also are taking the week off.
The Jags return Nov. 2 with four of their next five games on the road, starting against the Raiders and the AFC South rival Houston Texans. They’re back in Jacksonville on Nov. 16 with a showdown with Justin Herbert and the Chargers.
The Jaguars have the third-easiest remaining schedule in the NFL, according to Tankathon. Their remaining opponents enter today with a combined win percentage of .420, with two games against the 6-1 Indianapolis Colts serving as the toughest test.
