New Balance have lifted the cloche on their official 2025 TCS New York City Marathon programme, and it’s brimful of community activations, intriguing brand experiences and runner-focused happenings that are all about saluting the marathon’s ethos while championing the athletes who get out there and put their back into it.
NB are the Official Athletic Footwear and apparel partner of non-profit group New York Road Runners, who produce the race. As such, they’ll be holding a pop-up paradise for competitors and spectators at the Run House (214 Lafayette Street), which will feature a cafe, recovery stations, beats, hair stylists, and stations for customisation. It opens on Friday, October 31 from noon until 5 pm, and again on Saturday, November 1 from 8 am until 3 pm.
Race day itself will benefit from the NB-hosted, DJ-led Cheer Zone at Mile 24, and after competitors have made it across the line, the brand will welcome them (and their supporters!) to a finishers party at Haswell Greens.
Tom Carleo, Vice President of Running at New Balance, expressed his enthusiasm for the huge celebrations: ‘As we continue to strengthen our relationship with New York Road Runners, New Balance is proud to stand alongside the running community in New York City – supporting athletes, enthusiasts, and spectators every step of the way,’ said. ‘These activations are designed to unite the community, celebrate the journey, and create unforgettable race-day memories.’
