A flight form Charlotte to San Jose has declared an emergency over Gulf of Mexico.
The American Airlines flight AA2795 departed Charlotte at 11:29 EDT according to tracking website.
The flight operated by a Boeing 737-800 (registration N932AN) has turned around over Gulf of Mexico more than 2 hours into the flight.
The crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) after flying over Cuba while starting descent to Miami, Florida.

The airline is confirming the diversion to Miami with a stopover of 1 hour.
