It’s been 199 days since the San Antonio Spurs last lost a game.
The Silver and Black won all five preseason games in October and their first three games of the 2025-26 regular season under coach Mitch Johnson.

The Spurs’ last defeat occurred on April 11 in Phoenix, a 117-98 loss to the Suns.
A capacity crowd of 19,016 filled Frost Bank Center on Sunday as Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs to a 118-107 victory over the Brooklyn Nets and became the first player in NBA history to record 100 points and 15 blocks in the first three games of the regular season.
“We want to punch above our weight even though we’re a small market and we’re a constant underdog. That’s OK,” said Spurs Chairman Peter J. Holt said at a CityFest panel on Oct. 21. “It’s awesome that our fans have high expectations for us and we’ve got some amazing young, new players surrounded by some vets and a new coach.”

After tonight, the Spurs will have 39 home games left, including two in Austin during the annual Rodeo Road Trip.
Off the court, the Spurs have been making headlines recently for the team’s part in Project Marvel, a planned sports and entertainment district near Hemisfair anchored by a new $1.3 billion arena.
Early voting continues through Oct. 31 for the Nov. 4 Bexar County venue tax election, during which voters are being asked to approve about quarter of the downtown arena’s funding as well as renovate the team’s current Eastside home into a year-round rodeo district.

If voters reject the proposal, city and county leaders have expressed desire to continue to negotiate with the Spurs ahead of the 2032 expiration of the team’s existing lease at the Frost Bank Center.
