The Philadelphia 76ers will hit the road on Tuesday to take on the Washington Wizards as they look to remain unbeaten on the season. On the second night of a back-to-back, they will have Joel Embiid back on the floor as he missed Monday’s first night of the set, but they will still be short-handed.
Of course, Jared McCain (right hand surgery recovery) remains sidelined as he works his way back from the torn UCL in his right thumb. Coach Nick Nurse recently gave the latest update on the second-year guard as the Sixers look to move forward.

Paul George (left knee surgery recovery) also remains sidelined as Philadelphia works him back slowly from an offseason arthroscopic procedure. It appears he still has some boxes to check.
Dominick Barlow (right elbow laceration) is also out for this contest. The Sixers gave a medical update on the 4-year forward as he will be re-evaluated this week.
Embiid and offseason addition Trendon Watford are not listed on the report. Watford has been dealing with left hamstring tightness and it appears he will make his Sixers debut on Tuesday.
Tip off at the Capital One Arena is set for 7 p.m. EDT on Tuesday.
