Ground stops issued at Bush, Hobby airports

HOUSTON – Ground stops have been issued at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport because of thunderstorms in the area.

The stop at Hobby was issued at 5:14 p.m., and the stop at Bush came roughly 15 minutes later at 5:30 p.m.

Both ground stops are scheduled to last until 6:30.
