Jaguars coach Liam Coen says casinos are off limits while in Las Vegas

The Jaguars are playing at Las Vegas, and in light of recent gambling scandals, Jaguars coach Liam Coen has no designs on his team making headlines.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are looking to get healthy coming out of a Week 8 bye that gave the team some much-needed rest.

Before the bye week, multiple Jaguars starters either missed time or were banged up heading into the game. Most notably among those was defensive end Travon Walker (wrist). Walker worked with a club/cast on his left wrist for the last two games and should begin to shed the club over the next couple of weeks of the season.

Walker was not listed on the team’s injury report on Wednesday.

The team saw multiple receivers banged up in their Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Rams, too, with both receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) and Tim Patrick (groin) showing significant pain or unable to finish the contest. The team also saw safety Eric Murray (neck) exit the game in Week 7.

All three players are listed on the team’s injury report. Among those on the report who sported non-contact pennys on Wednesday were Brown, Thomas, linebacker Dennis Gardeck (chest) and cornerback Jourdan Lewis (neck).

All four were listed as limited participants on Wednesday.

Here are the latest Jacksonville Jaguars injury updates.
