NORTH TEXAS VETERANS CELEBRATION
McKinney-based nonprofit the Warrior’s Keep will host its seventh annual North Texas Veterans Celebration at Tupps Brewery in McKinney. Guests can hear speaker Army Sgt. Vincent Hancock and enjoy live entertainment, plus make bids in the silent auction. Attendees can also buy a craft beer-tasting pass and the whole hog roast plate.

MCKINNEY VETERANS DAY CEREMONY
This special Veterans Day ceremony is hosted by the McKinney Armed Services Memorial Board at Cpl. RD Foster Veterans Memorial Park. It will include the dedication of a memorial marker.

PATRIOTS RUN 5K & FUN RUN

GRAPEVINE VETERANS DAY PARADE AND FAIR
The Grapevine Veterans Day Parade will march down historic Main Street and end at East Wall Street. Veterans and residents are invited to watch the parade and check out the Veterans Fair, which will have 15 organizations offering veteran services, programs and benefits. There will also be live music by Guitars for Heroes.

AMERICAN HEROES: A SALUTE TO VETERANS
Celebrate veterans and first responders with fun activities for all ages in The Colony. There will be carnival rides, games, a concert series, food trucks and a drone show.

MANSFIELD VETERANS DAY PARADE AND SALUTE
The city of Mansfield is honoring military veterans with a parade down Broad Street that will pass by City Hall and the field of flags. After the parade, there will be a patriotic salute concert on the front steps of City Hall.

PLANO FLAGS OF HONOR
The Red Tail Pavilion will be adorned with 1,111 American flags honoring veterans and first responders. Attendees can dedicate a flag to their hero and walk around and admire the patriotic scene.

PATRIOTIC CHALK WALK
People can register to participate in the Plano Flags of Honor Chalk Walk to create art to honor veterans. There will be five divisions, which include professional; amateur; fourth to fifth grade; sixth to eighth grade; and high school.

FALL CONCERT HONORING VETERANS
The Allen Community Band will honor veterans through music by playing a collection of songs from each branch of service. John Philip Sousa’s The Stars and Stripes Forever will end the concert.

DENTON’S VETERANS DAY CEREMONY
This annual program features patriotic performances by the Young at Heart band and senior center chorus members, plus there will be a guest speaker.

TEXAS VETERANS DAY PARADE IN ARLINGTON
The Arlington Entertainment District will boom with patriotic pride. Attendees can check out the Veterans Day parade, military flyovers, marching bands, military vehicles, veteran services area, and drone show. This year’s grand marshal is former U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Marines will collect new, unwrapped toys along the parade route for Toys for Tots.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION
The 18th annual North Richland Hills Veterans Day Celebration will honor those who have served in the armed forces. There will be a wreath of honor, and the city’s Police and Fire Honor Guard will present the colors, a keynote address and performances.

GREATER DALLAS VETERANS DAY PARADE
This educational and family-friendly event salutes veterans and military members for their service. The parade theme this year is “Commemorating 75 Years of the Korean War.” There will be a ceremony, the playing of taps and a Missing Man formation military flyover.

TARRANT COUNTY VETERANS DAY PARADE
This year’s parade will pay tribute to Vietnam veterans The parade begins at the Tarrant County Courthouse and will go down Fort Worth’s Main Street through Sundance Square.

GEORGE W. BUSH PRESIDENTIAL MUSEUM ON VETERANS DAY
The George W. Bush Presidential Museum will offer free admission to all visitors on Veterans Day and have extended evening hours. Visitors can get an up-close look at President Bush’s time in office.
