PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A busy Valley freeway is partially closed early Thursday morning after a deadly crash overnight.
Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers responded to the reported crash on westbound Interstate 10 near 16th Street around 12:45 a.m.

Details on the crash are still limited, but DPS said it was a multiple-vehicle crash that resulted in injuries. Arizona’s Family crews at the scene could see a body on the freeway.
Traffic was initially blocked in the left lanes, but crews have now closed all of westbound I-10 at the Mini Stack near 24th Street. It is unknown when the freeway will reopen, DPS said.

The Mini Stack is the interchange between I-10, State Route 51 and the Loop 202 Red Mountain freeway.
