Arc Raiders Servers

You know an online game’s got potential when its servers seemingly crumble the minute they go live.

That’s what’s happening with Arc Raiders right now. The new extraction shooter has just landed on PS5 (alongside Xbox and PC), and players are struggling to squeeze into any matches.

And that’s if they manage to get past the initial login phase, which is currently throwing out connection errors right, left, and centre.

To be clear, it’s not like the servers are completely busted. Some people are getting in — it’s just whether they can actually stay there.

We would assume that things will stabilise throughout the day, although additional hiccups seem somewhat likely over the weekend. One to keep an eye on.

Generally speaking, Arc Raiders appears to have a lot of momentum behind it. Early feedback on the game has been really positive, and our extraction shooter specialist, video producer Aaron, has been bigging up the title for months.

Embark’s latest outing is shaping up to be a hit, then. But do you think it’ll stick around? Are you playing Arc Raiders — or at least attempting to? Keep an eye out for the mechanical menace in the comments section below.
