As I Lay Dying played their first live show with their latest lineup today, October 30th. The metalcore outfit, fronted by the highly controversial frontman Tim Lambesis, launched their 20th anniversary tour for their third studio album “Shadows Are Security” at the VK Stadium in Moscow, Russia. The decision to hit Russia on this European tour wasn’t warmly received by some, as many Western artists have abstained from touring that country since the full scale Russian invasion of Ukraine kicked off in 2022.

This new run finds Lambesis once again having rebuilt the band, following a flurry of drama and allegations that saw the group’s lineup disintegrate for a second time. With Lambesis onboard as the sole remaining member, As I Lay Dying‘s latest incarnation currently consists of the following musicians:

Vocals/guitar: Tim Lambesis
Vocals/bass: Chris Clancy (Mutiny Within, etc.)
Guitars: Bill Hudson (NorthTale, Tommy Vext, etc.)
Guitars: Don Vedda
Guitars: Jack Daniels (War Of Ages)
Drums: Tim Yeung (Tommy Vext, ex-Divine Heresy, etc.)

That roster unveiled their first single “Echoes” earlier this month. This European leg of the “Shadows Are Security” 20th anniversary tour will continue as follows:
