It’s been an unusually brisk couple of days for North Texas, and that pattern is expected to continue Friday morning.
Temperatures are expected to stay around 40 degrees for much of the region, but should rise to 45 degrees for Dallas-Fort Worth, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.
While the morning chill is still colder than normal, the afternoons have been progressively warming this week and Friday should make it up to 71 degrees — normal for Halloween!
In the evening, the temperature should drop to 65 degrees by 7 p.m. sinking to 60 degrees by 9 p.m. While it depends on the costume, most outfits should be comfortable without being overly bundled up for those who are outside trick-or-treating.
