With recent estimates suggesting over 42,000 residents will be diagnosed with cancer in Arizona this year alone, the need has never been greater to support the community. On Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, hundreds of cancer survivors, patients, loved ones, and advocates will come together in a powerful demonstration of hope, resilience, and community in Phoenix.

City of Hope

  • Celebrate Life (Friday, Oct. 31): The event will honor local cancer survivors who have reached the significant milestone of being five years or more since beginning treatment with City of Hope, welcoming them to the “Survivor Tree” with leaf-shaped plaques as symbols of their strength and determination.
  • Walk for Hope (Saturday, Nov. 1): City of Hope will host its annual Walk for Hope event in Phoenix and will see hundreds joining hands to walk and raise funds for lifesaving research, access-widening advocacy, and dignity-giving care – in the fight to end cancer for all. To-date more than 1,300 individuals have signed up and are expected to raise more than $75K.
