HOUSTON – The Houston Airports System is encouraging all passengers flying through Bush Intercontinental Airport or Hobby Airport to arrive early and allow extra time for security screening as screening lanes will be reduced beginning this Saturday.
At Bush Intercontinental Airport, only TSA checkpoints at Terminals A and E will be open for passengers, beginning at 4 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1.
At Hobby Airport, passengers may experience reduced screening lanes which may result in extended wait times, beginning on Saturday.
At times, the agency says TSA wait times may extend beyond 30 minutes.
At Bush, United Airlines is advising passengers to check their luggage at Terminal C and then proceed to Terminal E by walking or taking the subway for security screening.
