A teenage boy has died in an e-bike crash on the Gold Coast, in the second e-bike fatality in three days in south-east Queensland.

Emergency services were called to Broadbeach Boulevard in Broadbeach just after 3am on Saturday, following reports a teenager had fallen from an e-bike.

Queensland Police said that officers provided first aid, but the boy died a short time later.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

In a second incident on the Gold Coast overnight, another male teenager was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital after suffering leg injuries in a separate e-bike crash.

Paramedics say the teenager was involved in a collision with a vehicle on Oxley Drive and Brisbane Road at Biggera Waters just before 8pm on Friday.

The Gold Coast incidents come after an eight-year-old boy died following an e-bike collision on the Sunshine Coast on Thursday afternoon.

On Friday, Queensland Premier David Crisafulli promised to reform e-bike laws in the wake of the tragedy.
