The November concert and comedy show calendar is jam-packed with Rebellious Magazine favorites. From the legendary founder of Lilith Fair to the Godmother of Punk, here’s a look at some of the most exciting events happening in and around the city throughout the month of November.

Sarah McLachlan – Auditorium Theatre – Nov. 22

When Sarah McLachlan celebrated the 30th anniversary of Fumbling Towards Ecstasy at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island last summer, fans were treated to a night of nostalgia and beautiful music. The legendary Lilith Fair founder’s current tour – which is stopping by the Auditorium Theatre on Nov. 22 – is set to be an exploration of life and the state of the human condition as McLachlan shares songs from her tenth studio album, Better Broken, which was released earlier this year.

Fortune Feimster – Chicago Theatre – Nov.8

If you’re looking for laughs this November, don’t miss Fortune Feimster’s Nov. 8 show at the Chicago Theatre. The hilarious comedian is bringing the Takin’ Care of Biscuits Tour to the iconic venue, promising a night full of top-tier stand-up.

Pinkpantheress – Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom – Nov. 1 & Nov. 2

British anti-pop star Pinkpantheress is one of the most buzzed about artists of the moment. Do whatever it takes to get into one of her sold-out shows at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom on Nov. 1 and 2, as her star will surely rise to arena-sized venues next time around.

Any time the Godmother of Punk is performing in Chicago it is a must-see event. When Patti Smith and her band are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Horses, you know the shows are going to go down in history. Don’t miss Smith’s pair of concerts at The Chicago Theatre on Nov. 17 & 18.

Elsewhere in November, King Princess is performing indoors at The Salt Shed on Nov. 7 and The Aces will rock Thalia Hall on Nov. 5. Boris is bringing the Pink 20th Anniversary Tour to Metro on Nov. 9 and The Beths, along with Squirrel Flower, are playing The Salt Shed indoors on Nov. 23. Last but not least, Somebody Somewhere stand-out Murray Hill will be treating fans at The Den to a night of stand-up, shtick, song, and much more on Nov. 9.
