The Boston Celtics make the trip back to their home arena of TD Garden to take on the Houston Rockets on this Saturday (Nov. 1) evening. They will do in the midst of their longest win streak of the 2025-26 NBA regular season after starting out their current campaign in a 0-3 deficit.
And in order to extend that streak, the Celtics are going to need to beet a Rockets squad playing through an oddly similar start after going 0-2 to begin their season, only to start their own “longest” winning streak of the season before tonight’s contest. When you consider that both clubs are down one of their most important players, and that Boston has rapidly improved on countering what has been one of Houston’s greatest early-season strengths, this matchup is a compelling one.
