PHOENIX — There are three new affordable housing projects that are set to open later this month around Arizona.
Dominium — a national affordable housing owner, developer and manager — will host grand openings for each of the projects, which are located in Goodyear and Marana.
The Goodyear affordable housing properties, Estrella Springs at Canyon Trails and Suncrest Vista at Canyon Trails, will have their grand opening on Nov. 12. Meanwhile, the Marana project, known as The Safford, will have its grand opening the day after on Nov. 13.

Estrella Springs offers 396 affordable apartment homes for families.
The affordable housing project is located off of State Route 303 and Van Buren Street and is not far from destinations such as Goodyear Ballpark, Phoenix-Goodyear Airport and Estrella Star Tower.
The complex offers one, two and three bedroom apartment homes for prospective residents. Each apartment has granite countertops, vinyl plank flooring and modern kitchens.
In addition, the property has a community room, fitness center and swimming pool.
The minimum household income requirement for Arizonans interested in living at Estrella Springs is 2.5 times the monthly rent.
In addition, the total household income must be under a specific limit that is based on household size.
As for Suncrest Vista — Dominium’s other affordable housing project in Goodyear — it is 55+ community with 261 affordable senior apartments — which are pet-friendly.
The project is similar to Estrella Springs due to the fact that it’s located in the same area and offers one, two and three bedroom floor plans. On top of that, the apartments also feature granite countertops, vinyl plank flooring and modern kitchens.
In addition, the complex has a community center, fitness center and walking paths for residents.
Unlike Estrella Springs, the 55+ affordable housing property’s minimum household requirement is two times the monthly rent. However, Suncrest Vista still has a specific limit that the total household income must be under based on household size.
Details on Marana affordable housing project
The Safford will have 200 units with one, two and three bedroom floor plans.
It is located near Silverbell and Twin Peaks roads, just west of Interstate 10.
The complex offers a community center with a kitchen and seating area, a fitness center and walking paths through the neighboring community.
The Safford is a pet friendly space with a pet wash station and a dog park.
The home comes with granite countertops, walk-in closets and is kid-friendly.
Marana Unified School District is the public school system that services the area.
