With tonight’s win, the Seattle Seahawks are the fifth NFC team to reach six wins. They join the Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams at 6-2, with the San Francisco 49ers right behind at 6-3.

The Seahawks have two games against the Rams upcoming in the second half of the season. Those games will go a long way towards determining who wins the NFC West and gets a home playoff game.

Given how well Sam Darnold is playing, along with the physicality of the defense, the Seahawks could be in the mix among the top echelon of NFC teams. Playing at Lumen Field in the playoffs is no joke, as the 12s will be in full force, similar to their “Legion of Boom” years in the 2010s.
