Local voters were asked to make two decisions at the ballot box that could change representation in San Diego County.
NBC 7 San Diego will have the latest results below as soon as they are released by the San Diego County Registrar of Voters.
California Prop 50 results
All California voters were asked to decide whether to establish new congressional district maps for the 2026, 2028 and 2030 elections. Proposition 50 was meant as a countermeasure to redistricting in Republican strongholds. The redrawn maps could erase as many as five Republican districts in California.
Poway District 2 recall results
Voters in Poway City Council District 2 were asked to decide whether Councilmember Tony Blain, who is facing felony charges in San Diego County, should remain in office or be removed.
The recall is decided by a simple majority, and 50% +1 of the vote would remove Blain from office.
