We should usually need our jackets by now in North Texas.
For early November, the overnight lows are usually down around 50 degrees and the afternoon highs should be about 70. But for the rest of this week, those temperatures are expected to be around 10 degrees higher, according to forecasts from the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.
At 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, the temperature should be 57 degrees, its lowest for the day. Slightly stronger wind gusts are also possible in the morning, up to 20 miles per hour until about lunchtime.
The weather service expects the temperature for the day to peak around 3 p.m. at 82 degrees, with clear skies the entire time.

Similar conditions are expected through Saturday, when a stronger cold front should be moving in. Once it arrives, temperatures are expected to drop below normal, with the lows potentially plunging all the way down to the 30s, giving North Texas some big temperature swings in the next week.
