Marvel’s Next Movie Is A Wild Avengers Adventure
Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters on December 18, 2026. Before then, Marvel fans will be able to check out a new Avengers movie special in the form of LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails, which will premiere on Disney+ on November 14. The film is a follow-up to last year’s LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition.
The 2024 Marvel special focused on Demolition Man, who had to rise to become a hero and save the Avengers. LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition holds an 82% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Like its predecessor, LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails will also spotlight a Marvel hero, but instead of an obscure character, it is a popular Avenger: Hawkeye.
The synopsis for the next Avengers movie has been revealed, and in true LEGO fashion, fans can expect a lot of laughs and absurd situations. That is because Hawkeye and the Avengers will be going up against “an influencer bent on cataclysmic destruction.” The story will include a new Avengers team being recruited to deal with the social media-focused threat.

With the MCU’s next Avengers movie only being released in December 2026, fans still have more than a year until Avengers: Doomsday. As such, having a new animated Avengers movie special to help bridge that gap is perfect. The LEGO projects are always fun and include several characters, serving as a way of exploring the Marvel universe before 2026’s big event.
It also helps that the previous entry in the animated franchise was well-received, so fans should expect another exciting journey through the Marvel universe. With Hawkeye not often getting the spotlight, it will also be nice to see Clint Barton shine in the next Avengers movie. After its release, fans will still have the Avengers: Doomsday trailer in December to look forward to.
