Police say four suspects were taken into custody. Two others remain on the run.
HOUSTON — Six suspects took off running after officers stopped a vehicle in the Heights linked to a theft Friday evening, according to Houston police.
The chase ended near the intersection of Heights Blvd. and East 4th Street, where investigators say the group abandoned an infant inside the vehicle as they took off.
According to Houston police, four of the suspects were taken into custody, and officers from South Central, Central and the K9 Unit were searching for the remaining two.
Police have not released additional details about the suspects or the child’s condition.
