Los Angeles is led by veteran guard Kelsey Plum, who is averaging 20.6 points and 5.6 assists per game, with support from forward Dearica Hamby, who averages 16.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.9 steals. In their last game, the Sparks dropped a home contest to the Chicago Sky (92-85), despite holding a one-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. Plum scored 22 points in the loss, but shot just 4-for-16 from the field.
After starting 9-0, the Liberty have hit a significant wall, losing five of their last seven and two in a row.
