Michigan’s football program has flipped another recruit in the 2026 recruiting class.
Wilmette (Illi.) Loyola three-star offensive lineman Tommy Fraumann committed to Michigan on Friday. The 6-foot-7, 250-pounder had been verbally pledged to Miami (Ohio) since April.
Fraumann is no stranger to the Wolverines’ program. His father is a former Michigan linebacker, while his mother played volleyball for the Wolverines.
He is ranked as the No. 1,356 overall player and No. 117 tackle in the country, per the 247Sports Composite.
After going nearly three months without a commitment in the 2026 class, Michigan has landed two this week. It also picked up a verbal pledge from Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier three-star linebacker Aden Reeder on Thursday – three days after he backed off his commitment to Wisconsin.
Michigan’s class, which consists of 24 commits, ranks 10th nationally. Fraumann is the fourth offensive lineman in the class. He has nine total offers, with Michigan being his only Power Four offer.
