While Chicago has struggled to mesh well as a team and find consistent success under head coach Tyler Marsh, Sky forward Angel Reese has been a bright spot for the team.

Reese is currently playing in her second season with the Sky. She’s been vocal about her influence on the Sky’s lineup, recently mentioning that she’s at the top of the scouting report, clearly causing problems for the opposing teams.

“I’m the top of the scouting report,” Reese said, per Yahoo Sports.

During her second season with the Chicago Sky, Angel Reese has posted 12.4 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. She’s averaging similar stats to her rookie season, having capped off her first season in the league with 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

Reese was recently honored as the Player of the Week in the WNBA, honoring her success with the Sky.

Angel Reese is widely regarded as one of the best rebounders in the WNBA. She finished the season averaging the most rebounds of any player in the league and seems to be in line for another massive season on the boards.

Reese’s rebounding prowess and offensive improvement lead teams to prioritize the Chicago Sky star.

Reese will have a chance to prove her case against one of the most talented teams in the WNBA, the Minnesota Lynx, on Sunday, July 6 at 7 p.m. ET.
