Chicago Sky star Angel Reese showcased her revamped shooting form on social media. Some WNBA fans are stunned by Reese’s quick release amid her second offseason. Her future with the Sky is currently in question after her remarks about the franchise and her teammates before the end of last season.

In an Instagram post, Reese shared some photos and reels from the past few days. Some of it was personal photos, which included selfies, while there was one workout video of her shooting from beyond the arc. She swished her shot, and it looked like she developed a quicker release.

Reese can also be wearing Orlando Magic gear and even practiced at the team’s facilities. She’s rumored to be dating Magic big man Wendell Carter Jr., though nothing has been confirmed by either party. She’s also not participating in the second season of Unrivaled.

Some Angel Reese fans were ecstatic about her new jump shot, while others pointed out that she should focus on making more shots inside the paint. Nevertheless, Reese is putting in the work in the offseason amid her recovery from a back injury that kept her out for the majority of the second half of the season.

Here are some of the comments.

“Please use this jumper next season,” a fan wrote.

“The fundamentals are going to grow the game,” one fan remarked.

“Focus on layups before extending your range,” another fan suggested.

“Shot look good,” a fan claimed.

“The 3 points with the left hand,” one fan quipped.

“Pull up game finna go hard,” another fan commented.

Angel Reese won the Unrivaled championship and the Defensive Player of the Year award in her first season with the 3-on-3 league earlier this year. However, Reese won’t be returning to Rose BC this season to help the club retain their title.

According to Alissa Hirsh of the Chicago Sun-Times, Reese wasn’t part of Unrivaled’s roster reveal. One of the possible reasons for her decision to skip the league’s second season could be her back injury that kept her out for most of the second half of last season.

Reese had some back problems after the All-Star break, though she did confirm that she wants to have a big break after not having any rest since her final year at LSU. Other notable WNBA stars not signed to Unrivaled this season include A’ja Wilson, Sabrina Ionescu and Caitlin Clark.
