Phoenix Suns fans share their thoughts on new-look roster

The Phoenix Suns made many changes to their roster in the offseason. Here’s what fans had to say about the new-look team ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The Phoenix Suns have three upcoming games starting Nov. 10 against the New Orleans Pelicans at Mortgage Matchup Center.

The Pelicans lost their first six games of the season despite having a healthy Zion Williamson. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 draft played just 24 games his rookie season, 29 in 2022-23 and 30 in 2024-25.

Willie Green began his fifth year as Pelicans head coach after working two seasons as an assistant with the Suns.

After the New Orleans game, the Suns hit the road to play the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 12 and return home to take on the Indiana Pacers in the second of a back-to-back Nov. 13.

The Mavericks have the first overall selection in the 2025 draft in Cooper Flagg. Williamson and Flagg were both first-team All-Americans in their one season at Duke before entering their respective drafts.

The Pacers are without Tyrese Haliburton, who suffered a torn right Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. The injury will sideline him for the entire 2025-26 season.

The Pacers lost their first five games before defeating Golden State on Nov. 1.

Phoenix has two more back-to-backs in the month of November.

The Suns face the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 23 and the Houston Rockets on Nov. 24 at home in what will be Kevin Durant’s first game against the Suns since the offseason trade.

The Suns handed the Spurs their first loss of the season Nov. 2 in Phoenix.

The Suns later play at defending NBA champion Oklahoma City on Nov. 28 and return home to take on the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 29.

Phoenix lost at Denver, 133-111, last month.
