The Grove Christmas tree

Save

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Especially at The Grove, where the iconic 100-foot-tall white fir has officially taken its place as the centerpiece of one of L.A.’s most beloved holiday traditions. Sourced from the Mt. Shasta region, the 80-year-old tree was carefully transported and hoisted into place by crane last week, marking the start of the shopping center’s annual winter wonderland transformation.

And in true sustainable spirit, The Grove’s massive Christmas tree doesn’t go to waste once the season wraps. After the holidays, it’s recycled into mulch and firewood, and ten new white firs are planted in its place back in Mt. Shasta.

🎄Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

This year’s tree will sparkle with more than 15,000 twinkling lights and 10,000 shimmering ornaments.
