PHOENIX — With Phoenix set to come alive with celebrations honoring veterans, drivers should prepare for street closures across the city on Tuesday.
The Phoenix Veterans Day Parade starts Tuesday at 11 a.m., but the streets along the parade route will be closed earlier to allow people time to set up spots to watch.
Entry check-in is at North Phoenix Baptist Church at 5757 N. Central Avenue.
The Phoenix Veterans Day Parade 2025 will start by heading south on Central Avenue from Montebello Avenue.
From there, the procession will turn east onto Camelback Road and then turn south onto Seventh Street.
Then, celebrators will march to the finish line at Indian School Road. It’s expected to wrap up around 1 p.m.
Veterans Day Parade 2025: Phoenix road closures to watch out for
According to Honoring America’s Veterans, the following closures will be in place on Tuesday.
7:30 a.m.
- Central Avenue from Bethany Home Road to Missouri Avenue.
- Montebello Drive from Central Avenue to 2nd Street.
10:00 a.m.
- Central Avenue between Missouri Avenue and Camelback Road.
- Camelback Road between Central Avenue and 7th Street.
- 7th Street between Camelback Road and Indian School Road.
- Indian School Road from 3rd Street to 9th Street.
- 7th Street from Osborn Road to Indian School Road.
10:45 a.m.
- Missouri Avenue, both eastbound and westbound.
Drivers and residents should plan ahead for delays during the parade, with residents encouraged to use alternate routes.
