The new commencement date falls during the final exam period, before the completion of many students complete their courses. The office said they looked forward to working with faculty and staff to minimize challenges that might arise from the change.
Commencement coordinators from each college are being notified, and the team is working with them to ensure any additional information is shared in the coming weeks and months, according to the email.
