Every year, Coronado MainStreet looks forward to hosting “MainStreet Goes Ghostly” on Halloween afternoon up and down Orange Avenue. The parade of costumes always elicits huge smiles from business owners, restaurant customers, and locals! This year was no different as we saw some super creative costumes from adults, teens, children, babies, and even pets!
This event wouldn’t be possible without the continuous support of our local businesses! Each store owner supplies their own candy to distribute, and the cost and amount of candy has increased each year. Please remember these businesses this holiday season (and all year long) as you shop for gifts and necessities. So, a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the businesses on Orange Avenue for participating in MainStreet Goes Ghostly!!
We’d also like to thank Bluewater Boathouse Seafood Grill for their donation of candy to our MainStreet table, and for back up candy for businesses who ran out early! Their support each year has been a blessing!
This year, we were fortunate to have the CHS Robotics team volunteer at our MainStreet table, handing out candy and wishing the trick or treaters a safe and Happy Halloween!
Thank you, Robotics team (Go Islanders!)!
Our next event is Shop Small on November 29th! We are collaborating with the Coronado Chamber of Commerce this year, so keep an eye out for information and shopping passports in the Eagle in the coming weeks!
