The crash happened around 6 a.m. near the intersection of 28th Street and Broadway Road.

PHOENIX — A man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a crash in Phoenix on Tuesday morning, according to the city’s police department.

Police said that at 5:56 a.m., officers were called to a crash near the area of 28th Street and Broadway Road.

When officers arrived on scene, they reportedly found an injured man in the roadway.

Phoenix Fire took the man to the hospital for treatment, according to police. He sustained life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, who is reportedly not believed to have been impaired, remained at the scene.

Police said they are closing down the area as they continue to investigate.
