Happy Caitlin Clark Day to all who celebrate!
We’re only kind of kidding based on the level of excitement—and coverage—around the WNBA superstar playing in Wednesday’s LPGA pro-am. Clark is teeing it up on the eve of the Annika for a second consecutive year, and once again, her round is being broadcast live on Golf Channel.

Again, this isn’t even part of the actual tournament. As Allen Iverson would say, “We’re talkin’ about PRACTICE!” Heck, Caitlin used a mulligan last year after nearly drilling fans with a tee shot last year.
But Clark should be even more comfortable at Pelican Golf Club with the presence of a pair of Indiana Fever teammates who she is used to seeing at actual practice. Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham are there to serve as the sharpshooter’s guest caddies. Yep, that’s two caddies for the three-point specialist. Here they are joining Clark on the practice range ahead of her tee time:
“A little left, a little left,” Hull remarked about one of Clark’s shots. That’s not what they teach you to tell your player in Caddying 101, but it’s early.

Anyway, looks like this crew will have a good time out there together. Heck, it’s a lot more fun than running wind sprints.
