The ATP Finals is giving tennis fans all around the world fantastic tennis action. The Bjorn Borg Group will see the group stage completion, and while we already know Jannik Sinner has made it to the last four as the top man in the group, the second spot is still up for grabs between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Alexander Zverev. As ever, we preview and predict both the matches for you. But who will advance?

ATP Finals Day 6 Predictions
Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Alexander Zverev

Head-to-head – Auger-Aliassime 6-3 Zverev

This match has all the makings of going right down to the wire. Felix Auger-Aliassime has had a fantastic year considering his drop in form in the recent two years, while Alexander Zverev is still a top player, especially in best-of-three. These two have met nine times, with their only meeting in 2025 going the way of the Canadian at the US Open.

Auger-Aliassime fought to the very end to manage to get the win in the third set. The Canadian seems to enjoy indoor hard-court conditions, and he will be looking to his serve-and-forehand combination to dictate points if he is to beat Zverev. The German, on the other hand, looked solid in his win over Ben Shelton but expectedly struggled against Jannik Sinner to get the upper hand from the baseline.

Expect this match to go down to the wire as these two are evenly matched on serve, but the differentiating factor is the backhand. Zverev has a solid one and is more than capable of redirecting the traffic to Auger-Aliassime’s backhand, which has been a weak point in his game.

Prediction: Zverev in 3

Jannik Sinner vs Ben Shelton

Head-to-head – Sinner 7-1 Shelton

Jannik Sinner has dominated his opponents thus far and has yet to drop his serve in the two matches he has played. He would like to continue that momentum into the semifinals as he faces Ben Shelton, who is out of the tournament. The American is playing for pride, and that may make him a very dangerous opponent.

Sinner has looked like his old self from the baseline, and while Shelton did manage to win their first meeting back in 2023, the American has lost seven straight since, including three this year without even managing a set.

Expect Shelton to maybe redline for a set, but Sinner is seeing the tennis ball like a football these days, and with the home crowd behind him, it looks to be going Sinner’s way once again on the back of his solid baseline game and extremely tough-to-break serve.

Prediction: Sinner in 2
