The climax shoot of Aryan Khan’s The Ba**ds of Bollywood was intense, packed with nostalgia, drama and a bold reimagining of a 90s classic. But what happened behind the scenes turned out to be even more unbelievable.

On the day of the climax’s filming, an actress did the unthinkable on the sets of Aryan Khan’s debut project. She actually asked Shah Rukh Khan to leave the set.

And that actress was Mona Singh who recently opened up about how she sent the superstar away because she simply couldn’t perform in front of him.

Talking to CNN-News18 Showsha, she recalled telling Shah Rukh Khan, “Sir, you cannot be here! I can’t do this in front of you,” leaving him stunned for a second.

Replying, SRK told her playfully, “Mona, what do you mean? You have to be professional.” But she insisted again, refusing to shoot until he left the room.

The climax sequence became even more memorable for Mona as she revealed how tricky it was to match the exact framing of the original ’90s hit.

She added that the kiss scene with Bobby was shot opposite a man dressed entirely in a blue costume, which left her asking herself, “Am I really doing this?”

She praised Aryan Khan’s clarity and humour on set, saying his comic timing had the entire unit laughing. Mona added that the star kid has an excellent sense of comic timing.

When the episode aired, Mona said her phone exploded with reactions. “Everyone called me saying, ‘What the hell? Yeh kya hai?’ It was such a crazy climax,” she laughed.

Aryan’s bold recreation of Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela, featuring Bobby Deol became one of the most talked-about endings in the OTT industry.

The Ba**ds of Bollywood, directed by Aryan Khan, stars Mona Singh alongside Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Sahher Bambba in the key roles.
