The Chicago Police Department says surveillance video shows crash-and-grab thieves targeting a Garfield Park business on West Madison Street.
CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police issued a warning on Friday about recent crash-and-grab burglaries targeting retail businesses on the city’s Northwest and West sides.
Police say new video shows the alleged suspects driving a stolen car through a business to get inside.

They then take items like clothing and shoes before driving away in another stolen vehicle, which appears to be a van.
The thieves have hit at least two businesses in Garfield Park and Humboldt Park. Police said the burglaries happened at the following times and locations:
- 4000-block of West Madison Street on Nov. at 4:48 a.m.
- 800-block of North Kedzie Avenue on Nov. 10 at 4 a.m.
The suspects are described as males around 15-19 years old who weigh about 110-150 lbs. They wear all black with black masks.
