A shooting near 27th and Alice avenues in Phoenix has left one man dead, according to police.

At about 6 p.m. on Nov. 14, officers responded to a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an adult male, identified as 45-year-old Kevin Mitchell, suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to Sgt. Rob Scherer.

Mitchell was taken to a hospital but did not survive his injuries, Scherer said.

Anyone with information regarding this incident was encouraged to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and leave an anonymous tip.

Additionally, police claimed a reward would be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
