The Roxborough Christian School recently transformed its Westminster Hall into a whimsical autumn wonderland for the much-anticipated Fall Ball, a semi-formal dance, baking competition, and family fun night tailored for Pre-K through fifth graders.
The Parents Association spared no detail in decorating, draping the space with twinkling string lights, vibrant orange and gold streamers, and bales of hay adorned with pumpkins and gourds to evoke the cozy spirit of the season.

Students arrived in their finest attire eager to twirl on the dance floor to upbeat tunes spun by a local DJ and parent Tito Quinones.
The heart of the event pulsed with friendly competition during the baking showcase, where families submitted homemade treats ranging from brownies to intricately decorated leaf-shaped cupcakes.
A panel of parent volunteers and teachers judged entries on taste, creativity, and presentation, awarding prizes for standout creations that had everyone lining up for samples.
Laughter and applause filled the air as winners were announced, fostering a sense of community pride and inspiring even the tiniest bakers to dream big for next year.

Capping off the night was the celebratory drawing for the school’s Calendar fundraiser, marking the successful close of a month-long effort that supported needs of the school.
Excited cheers erupted as names were pulled from a festive basket, revealing winners of overflowing gift baskets brimming with donations like photography packages, gourmet candy, and other gift packages culled from donations from local businesses.

Quality raffles, like this one, depend entirely on the generosity of local businesses and supporters providing worthwhile and coveted items to raffle off.
And this one was no exception as local enterprises such as Philadelphia Rock Gym Climbing, Zipf’s Candy Store, Slices Pizza, Stanley’s True Value Hardware, Lusht, Revilla, Secret Garden, and Studio Luminoso came through with flying colors.
As families departed with full hearts and sugary smiles, Fall Ball not only strengthened bonds within the RCS community but also left lasting memories of joy, creativity, and gratitude in the crisp autumn air.
