PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Showers continue across the Valley with light rain falling this morning. The chance of showers will continue through the afternoon, and we will start to see a break late this evening.
High temps today will be well below our average, with a high of just 72 degrees. Rainfall amounts will range from around a quarter of an inch here in the Valley to an inch of rain in higher elevations. Snow levels will stay pretty high, ranging from 8,000 to 8,500 feet.
A second system will pay us a visit late Monday and Tuesday, bringing another round of rain and even cooler temperatures. We will also see temperatures drop in the mid to upper 60s. Overnight lows will fall into the lower to mid 50s as well — finally some fall-like temperatures!
We are watching the third system push through our state on Friday and Saturday. This could bring us even more rain and keep temperatures well below average. We will keep you updated on the timing of this storm.
