At halftime of their Week 11 game, the Buffalo Bills lead the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 21-20.
The Bills lead at the break despite a pair of turnovers by Josh Allen, who was picked off on the team’s opening drive by Jacob Parrish and later in the half by SirVocea Dennis. Allen surrounded those miscues with a trio of touchdowns, one on the ground and two through the air. He ran one in on a QB sneak from around two yards out in the first quarter, then connected with Tyrell Shavers on a 43-yard score and Ty Johnson on a 52-yarder in the second period.
The Bucs trail at the break in part because they only turned Allen’s two picks into a total of three points. They were stopped near the goal line and settled for a field goal after the first pick gave them first-and-goal from just the 7-yard line, then punted after the second interception. The majority of their offensive success came on the ground, with Sean Tucker and Rachaad White combining for 119 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries and Baker Mayfield notching a rushing score on a zone read.
Which of these two teams will bounce back from last week’s loss and get into the win column? We’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, keep it locked to our live blog throughout the afternoon as we update you with stats, scores and highlights.
