A 25-year-old man has been arrested, accused by police of robbing a Bank of America in Bedford on Friday.
The man is suspected of robbing the branch in the 1900 block of Central Drive around 1:30 p.m., Bedford police said in a news release.
Inside, police said the man handed a bank teller a note demanding money and indicating he had a weapon. Police said the teller complied, then the man fled on a bicycle.
Police, with help from the FBI, later learned the man was from Waco and had been staying in Euless. He was found by officers the same day as the robbery and taken into custody, police said.

As of Saturday, police said the man was in the Tarrant County jail awaiting arraignment. Police said they would release the man’s identity once he had been processed.
