JSO employee accused of tipping off wanted suspects
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman was found dead under a bridge on Blanding Boulevard Sunday evening, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Police said around 6:30 p.m., officers were flagged down by a civilian who was fishing and saw the body of the woman under the bridge.
On Sunday night, police said they were still working to identify the woman, but said they believe she was in her 20s.
JSO said it was still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, and did not share whether the woman had any visible injuries.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
