One of the city’s most beloved holiday traditions has returned! Holiday at the Arboretum has undergone a spectacular transformation for the holidays, including its 12 Days of Christmas gazebos, European-inspired Christmas Village, and darling historic DeGolyer House.

Furthermore, the Dallas Arboretum is introducing its new Night Glow, after dark experience. Here, visitors can see the garden alight in radiant displays worth of a Christmas card.

3. Grapevine

The Official Christmas Capital of Texas lives up to its name come the holiday season. With special events and bright spectacles lined up over the next couple months, holiday revelers can now stroll through the 1.5 million lights illuminating the Gaylord Texan and/or skate under starlight at Peace Plaza Ice Rink.

Other exciting events taking place this holiday season include the Annual Parade of Lights on Thursday, December 4, Carol of Lights on Monday, November 24, and drone shows over Historic Main Street on multiple dates this December.

7. Vitruvian Lights

Stroll through a wonderland of holiday lights at Vitruvian Park. Lighting up on November 22, Vitruvian Lights is a beautiful local holiday tradition in Addison. In addition to the dazzling lights, the park will also feature special live performances on November 22 and November 29 of Limelight and Dallas String Quartet, respectively.

Billed as the β€œlargest choreographed holiday lights and music show in North Texas”, Christmas in the Square is a massive holiday tradition in Frisco.
