The holiday season is here! When mapping out your merry way, you can’t miss out on the stars of the season: the magical Christmas light displays in DFW! Wander through millions of lights with festive treats, photo-ops, and immersive holiday entertainment in Dallas and surrounding areas.
One of the city’s most beloved holiday traditions has returned! Holiday at the Arboretum has undergone a spectacular transformation for the holidays, including its 12 Days of Christmas gazebos, European-inspired Christmas Village, and darling historic DeGolyer House.
Furthermore, the Dallas Arboretum is introducing its new Night Glow, after dark experience. Here, visitors can see the garden alight in radiant displays worth of a Christmas card.

Experience the cosmos come to life at Trinity Forest Adventure Park. Astra Lumina is a celestial journey across mysterious grounds, featuring a pathway of luminous light, cosmic visions, and astral song.
Prepare to be immersed in a field of thousands of pixel lights—part of the multisensory experience that has dazzled over 2 million U.S. visitors. This magical installation is created by the internationally acclaimed, award-winning Moment Factory (creators for Billie Eilish, U2, La Sagrada Familia, and The Sphere).

3. Grapevine
The Official Christmas Capital of Texas lives up to its name come the holiday season. With special events and bright spectacles lined up over the next couple months, holiday revelers can now stroll through the 1.5 million lights illuminating the Gaylord Texan and/or skate under starlight at Peace Plaza Ice Rink.
Other exciting events taking place this holiday season include the Annual Parade of Lights on Thursday, December 4, Carol of Lights on Monday, November 24, and drone shows over Historic Main Street on multiple dates this December.

4. Dallas Zoo Lights
The magical holiday experience has returned to the Dallas Zoo. Dallas Zoo Lights is back, brighter than ever, with an enchanting array of over two million lights, holiday-themed photo-ops, as well as holiday igloos, festive treats, and larger-than-life themed areas.

6. Tianyu Lights Festival
Tianyu Lights Festival is back! The immersive light wonderland features a fantastic array of luminous art installations. Featured experiences at Tianyu Lights Festival include a magic ocean, starlit farm, and interactive playground. Additionally, the festival also features a special handicraft marketplace and food court where visitors can score unique gifts and tasty treats.

7. Vitruvian Lights
Stroll through a wonderland of holiday lights at Vitruvian Park. Lighting up on November 22, Vitruvian Lights is a beautiful local holiday tradition in Addison. In addition to the dazzling lights, the park will also feature special live performances on November 22 and November 29 of Limelight and Dallas String Quartet, respectively.

8. Christmas in the Square
Billed as the “largest choreographed holiday lights and music show in North Texas”, Christmas in the Square is a massive holiday tradition in Frisco. Returning November 21, Christmas in the Square expects to draw around 125,000 visitors this holiday season with breathtaking lighting, the Skate the Square outdoor ice rink, horse carriages, and more!

9. Gift of Lights
Cruise into the holiday season at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth for the return of Gift of Lights. Starting its engines November 27, the drive-through holiday experience features over 3 million lights adorning the speedway, complete with glowing tunnels, holiday music, and many unique displays.

10. Prairie Lights
Prairie Lights returns to Grand Prairie this November. The premier holiday light park will feature over 4 million lights along two miles of pathways. This year, the event will feature hundreds of new displays as well as is its signature Holiday Village, complete with a carnival with a walk-thru forest, treat station, holiday vendors, and endless photo-ops!
