NEW YORK (WRGB) — According to reports from a New York Times reporter, Gov. Kathy Hochul’s top aide Avi Small has now resigned, following his suspension and investigation into a sexual harassment reports. Sources confirmed Small’s resignation shortly after noon, July 4.

According to a report first published by The New York Times, Governor Kathy Hochul has suspended her press secretary, Avi Small, amid an investigation into an allegation that he inappropriately touched another male staffer. The reported incident occurred on June 16 in Albany, during an all-staff retreat that included a softball game.
