Toronto police have arrested and charged a man who was wanted in connection with an indecent act investigation in Toronto’s Cabbagetown area.
The incident happened on Nov. 11 near Wellesley and Sumach streets, east of Parliament Street.
Toronto police said they were called to that area at about 3:45 p.m. for reports of an indecent act.
Investigators say a 10-year-old boy was walking in the area when the suspect approached on a scooter and allegedly committed an indecent act.
The victim and suspect are not known to each other, police said.
Police say the accused committed indecent acts against four other victims between May and November 2025. One victim was a child under the age of 13 years, two were young people under the age of 18 years, and one was an adult, they said.
On Nov. 15, Tyson Dante Tobias Macfarlane, 20, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with one count of fail to appear in court, two counts of FTC – release order, four counts expose genitals to person under 16 for sexual purpose, and five counts each of commit indecent act in public place and breach of probation.
He was scheduled to appear in bail court on Nov. 16.
Police believe there may be more victims.
