When an artist is able to tour one album more than once there’s something special happening. This is exactly what is going on for Xana right now on her second tour of her album “The Sex Was Good Until It Wasn’t” with a first leg in the US and continuing on to the UK in 2026.
Closing out the US part of the tour the day before halloween, Xana and her band came out dressed as our favorite Mystery gang, some of the crowd also showing up in their own costumes and ready to kick off halloween weekend together. The crowd wasn’t just fans from Los Angeles, but some who had been following the tour for multiple dates, one fan Xana brought on stage to select a song hoped with the singer that a song she’d really wanted to hear the night before but didn’t was an option (thankfully, it was).
She was the first of two lucky fans Xana brought on stage during the show, letting her three bandmates all name one of her songs and letting the fans choose their favorite of the three for her to perform. With setlists popping up online immediately after shows and with fans attending multiple, this was a fun way to add some surprise and variety.
Xana, originally from Canada, moved to LA to pursue this career and found a group of friends here who of course came to support her. While many of her songs are about romantic relationships or personal topics, she ends the show with a love letter to her friends “4ever”, taking the opportunity to call some of her friends onto the stage with her to celebrate the end of the US leg of this tour but also just be together as she performed. While she has been closing with “4Ever” there was something particularly heartwarming about watching her celebrate with people she loves, some tears being shed among them.
